Karnataka’s Textile Boom: Rs 2,821 Crore Inked at Bharat Tex 2026

Karnataka has attracted Rs 2,821 crore in textile and apparel investments following the signing of 12 MoUs at Bharat Tex 2026. These projects, spanning nine districts including Kalaburagi and Mysuru, are projected to create over 11,000 jobs. This initiative aligns with the state’s upcoming Textile & Apparel Policy 2026-2031, which targets Rs 20,000 crore in investments and 500,000 new jobs by prioritizing growth in Tier-II and Tier-III cities, particularly within the Kalyana Karnataka region.
